Small Groups

If you have an event, or just like to get together with some friends then I’m happy to offer small group hand building lessons in the evening or on Sundays. Start with a build session, and then book in for a decorating session (underglaze and/or glaze) a few weeks later.

Details:
$50 per person
2 hours
Up to 12 people
BYO snacks and drinks

For a clay session, clay, bisque firing and tutoring is included.
For a glaze session, underglaze, glaze, and glaze firing is included.

Individuals

If you would like to learn pottery on your own for a one on one lesson, we can easily arrange this! Class can be either wheel throwing, or hand building. Individual classes are great for starting out with wheel throwing, or if you have particular techniques you want to learn and areas you need coaching with for either wheel throwing or hand building.

Details:

$60 per person, per hour.
Clay and firing included.

OR

$40 per person for a 1.5 hour class
Tutoring included. Clay and glaze extra.

Wheel throwing:

Lesson 1 – Learning the basics on the wheel – explore and play with the clay. Get a “feel” for the clay.
Lesson 2 – Continuing with the basics (I will help them create something usable in this lesson)
Lesson 3 – Trimming & continuing with basics.
Lesson 4 – Decorating – underglaze and/or glazing. Continuing with wheel throwing if time permits.

Wheel and Studio Hire

So you’ve done a few lessons and now you need to put in the time to practice, no worries, we’ve got you covered! Wheel or studio space is available for hire! Please contact me for rates.
